Based on approximately 170 scratch-damage cases handled between March 2024 and March 2026. Our recoveries are not one-off successes that depend on luck or repeated head swaps — they come from a repeatable firmware-bypass approach. So the scratch cases you once had to refuse become work you can reliably pass to us — at a consistent quality, not by luck.

We accept cases other labs have already opened or attempted, with no surcharge. Being the third, fourth, or fifth lab in the chain is entirely routine for us, so we don't treat it as a problem. Before you place an order, we provide a CSV list of the data that can be recovered. This list is developed in-house and shows, file by file, which files are alive and which contain errors (intact vs. corrupted). What counts as a "successful recovery" is decided not by us, but by the end user: if they are not satisfied with the result, there is no service fee. (That said, we ask that you negotiate with the end user as far as possible.)

Diagnosis, recovery, and delivery are all completed in-house. A case you entrust to us is never re-outsourced to a third party — media and data stay on a single path, keeping accountability and confidentiality unambiguous.

We control the firmware and bypass the scratched area to recover the data. Based on the principle that a platter is in its best possible condition in its original state, we do not burnish.
