Our Team
Our company is a team of 13. We maintain dedicated engineers across the physical, PCB, and logical recovery domains, assigning the right specialist to each case—or having several work together—based on the media type and nature of the failure. Below we introduce the engineers at the core of our work.
Chief Engineer (Physical Recovery)
A.N
Registered Information Security Specialist (RISS). Began his career as a technical officer at the National Police Agency, where he was engaged in digital forensics. He has received numerous commendations, including the Director-General's Award of the Info-Communications Bureau and the Principal's Award of the Info-Communications School attached to the National Police Academy. He later worked at a major data recovery company before joining FIX Inc., where he has been involved in the full range of recovery operations—from logical to physical failures across HDDs, SSDs, flash memory, and RAID. He specializes in severe physical HDD failures, handling close to 100 platter-scratch cases per year and recovering the majority of them. He also provides technical guidance to the other engineers and oversees quality control across all cases.
Areas of expertise: Physical failures in general, including platter scratches
Data Recovery Engineer (Physical Recovery / PCB Repair)
Nikolai
Came to Japan after working at PC repair and data recovery companies in Russia. He handles diagnosis and repair at the PCB and component level. In addition to ROM transplants and replacement of components such as controllers and TVS diodes, he addresses board-level failures on SSDs, MacBooks, and similar devices. Through precision soldering work under the microscope, he recovers data from devices that fail to power on or are not recognized.
Areas of expertise: Physical failures in general / Component-level PCB repair / SSD controller failures
Data Recovery Engineer (Logical Recovery)
Grigori
Came to Japan after working at a data recovery company in Russia. He specializes in firmware analysis and data extraction from logical failures. He handles file system corruption, RAID/NAS rebuilds, and accidental formatting or deletion cases. Using proprietary tools for imaging and analysis, he achieves recovery in highly complex logical failure cases.
Areas of expertise: Firmware analysis / Logical recovery / RAID & NAS rebuilds
